 Slight Bleeding or Cramping

Very light bleeding can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms. It may or may not be accompanied by cramping. This may occur between 6-12 days after conceiving.

This may confuse a woman into thinking she is NOT pregnant, but having a light menstrual period. However, this bleeding is a bit earlier and lighter in color than a normal period and is shorter in duration.

Some women even have bleeding around their period time for several months, tricking them into believing they are not pregnant, when in fact they are.

  Breast Tenderness

Very sore nipples is one of the most common first signs of pregnancy, occurring as early as 1-2 weeks after conception. Additionally, your breasts may feel heavy.

Fatigue

You may feel tired all of the time, or just more tired than usual. This pregnancy symptom is due to the increased production of progesterone, lower blood sugar levels and blood pressure. Fatigue can start as early as 1 week after conception.

Nausea or Vomiting

Morning sickness, which can occur at any time of the day or night may occur as early as two weeks after conception. You may even vomit. This sign of pregnancy usually show up between 2-8 weeks after conception.

Heightened Sense of Smell

Never noticed the cat litter smell as much before? Does that perfume now turn your stomach? One of the  pregnancy symptoms is your improved sense of smell.

Constipation

Another one of the early sign of pregnancy – caused by the increase in progesterone delaying the speed of passage of food through the intestines.

Headaches

Never had them before and now you do? Hormonal changes may cause frequent, mild headaches.

   Cramps

Cramping without bleeding, which feels like menstrual cramps, is another early pregnancy symptom.

 Increased Urination

Another sign of pregnancy is finding yourself making more trips to the bathroom around 6-8 weeks after conception.

Feeling Dizzy or Fainting

A decrease in blood pressure can cause these pregnancy symptoms.

 Higher Basal Body Temperature

Some women use a basal body temperature, which detects slight changes in degrees more accurately than a regular thermometer. This is often used to indication when a woman is ovulating, so she knows when she is able to conceive.

If your basal body temperature remains elevated for more than two weeks after you ovulate, that may mean you're pregnant.

   Backaches

Lower backaches may be a sign of pregnancy. Some women have a backache throughout their entire pregnancy.

Area around Nipples Gets Darker

The are around your nipples may get darker or change in color or even have smaller bumps appear that were never there before.

Excessive Salivation (Ptyalism)

Symptom:

Have you been producing more saliva than normal? In other words, do you feel you need to spit alot? I know it is so un-ladylike, but this is another pregnancy sign.

In my case, it continued my entire pregnancy, and I had to spit ALL the time. It was probably the most aggravating of all my symptoms, that is, until the heartburn started...

Burping and Having Gas

Symptom:

Yes, it is again, so unlady-like to burp and pass gas. But have you noticed you are doing that now? This may mean you are pregnant.

Montgomery's Tubercules

Symptom:

Have you noticed small goose-bump like raised areas on the areolas around your nipples? No, you are not growing an extra nipple, but you may be pregnant.

Moodiness

The onslaught of hormones in your body can cause you to act unusually emotional and maybe cry for very little reason at all.

Missed Period

If you did not get your menstrual period, that is one of the surest signs of that you are pregnant.

A home pregnancy test is very accurate. Make sure you follow the instructions as to when you should take it. There is a certain amount of days AFTER intercourse that you have to wait to get an accurate test. Do not really solely on having some of these pregnancy symptoms.

Some tests work earlier than others, so be sure to read the labels. If you think you are pregnant, go to the doctor immediately, as a blood test will confirm it. Also, regular visits to an obstetrician is necessary when pregnant.
